Gal 5:1   It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.                     I find that so often new age Christianity has been reburdened by tradition. What I mean by that is the idea that there is only one way to please God. "Praying" can only be done by closing your eyes, sometimes only by bowing our heads. But nobody really follows that rule… we say "Let's have a time of prayer" but when we are talking casually that can't be considered as a time of prayer. Or "Fellowship" has to include deep one on ones or maybe music for worshiping and most defiantly a potluck meal together. But what about when you don't speak the same language with the kids that you are around? How do have fellowship with them? Just having put in time with these kids here playing soccer with them, and attempting to communicate with them has brought a deeper fellowship than I&#
Rev 10:9   And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.   Apocalipsis 10:9      Me acerque' al a'ngel y le pedi que diera el rollo. E'l me dijo: "To'malo y Cometelo. Te amargara' las entran~as. Pero en la boca te sabra' dulce como la miel."                   Pastor Luis shared on this and it really spoke to me. It's a very strange passage. Eating a scroll and it turns from sweet in the mouth to bitter in the stomach. A very similar thing happens to Ezekiel in the Old Testament. It says the when the Lord spoke to him through that scroll, it was the sweetest thing he could imagine. But when he went to share it to a rejecting people, it has a feeling of wormwood. When all he wanted to do is share the word of God and the people reject him, It hurts. But in light of what Ezekiel just wen
1Co 13:4   Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 1Co 13:5   or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 1Co 13:6   it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 1Co 13:7   Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1Co 13:8   Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.   1Co 13:4    El amor es paciente, es bondadoso. El amor no tiene envidia; el amor no es jactancioso, no es arrogante. 5     No se porta indecorosamente; no busca lo suyo, no se irrita, no toma en cuenta el mal recibido. 6     El amor no se regocija de la injusticia, sino que se alegra con la verdad. 7     Todo lo sufre, todo lo cree, todo lo espera, todo lo soporta. 8     El amor nunca deja de ser. Pero si hay dones de profeci'a, se acabara'n, si hay lenguas, cesara'n;

Heb 3:12   Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. Heb 3:12     Tengan cuidado, hermanos, no sea que en alguno de ustedes haya un corazo'n malo de incredulidad, para apartarse del Dios vivo.                   There's something that Jeremy said that comes to mind. If sin is ten feet away, you still wouldn't be sinning if you walked up 9 feet. You still have room. But only one foot. And the closer you get to sin the more intense the temptation becomes and more excuses come up. You could say, "it's just one more foot." And at that point a gust of wind could blow you over into sin. Rather run away from the ten foot line and make in 20, then 30, then 40 and so on. If we still have evil in our hearts of disbelief than it's like tiptoeing on the line of sin. Just barely not into sin. But at that point if a fly lands on you the weight of that fly would make you fall into the side of si
