As right now we are heading to school and there is going to be hundreds of kids, over a thousand actually. "Greet the friends by name" has hit me deep. There has been an emphasis on remembering names here but I didn’t know it was in the bible. I am actually writing this a couple of hours before I have to go to school. This has convicted me a lot as I haven’t had a heavy mentality to remember names. But even Paul recognizes the importance of addressing one another by their names. It brings respect and shows care to not forget them. That we actually love that person to remember them by their name. As we are going to the schools, our main goal is to share Ch

Amen.                     Today I was focusing on the resurrection of Christ. And the importance of it. Neil was speaking on it and it really hit me something. If the resurrection isn't portrayed than an all powerful God isn't portrayed. God said he will bruise the heel of the serpent (I believe is referencing satan) and that comes in the form of the resurrection. It's the , "even if you kill me I'll still come back. It's the thought of dedicating everything to God. I arrive and leave places without ever thinking about how God put me there and all the things he did there in me whilst I was there. Luk 15:18   I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, Luk 15:19   And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.                   This is a story that I have gone over a lot in recent moments. It has been a period of God showing me what he would like for me to know. And even revealing things to me about my own story that I didn't even know about myself. The whole story gives me a picture of many attributes of God and one I never realized before what faithfulness. I recently watched a war movie that depicted amazing loyalty and faithfulness from those soldiers to their country. And I think it's God's timing for me to watch that and also see the faithfulness of the father in the parable that Jesus told.     1Ti 3:16   Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.                     I was spending time thinking about what I means to be "vindicated be the Spirit" this word took my attention and I proceeded to look it up. In the Webster's dictionary it says literally this. " To prove or to be just or valid."   The Spirit proved that Jesus He is just and valid. This was an interesting note to me. But what is the mystery? The mystery to me is this, If Jesus did this in godliness, how do you become godly? All throughout 1 Timothy chapter 3 it talks about the qualifications of bishops and deacons. It lists practical things like "don't be given over to much wine" and "speak with integrity". But the root of all these things is godliness.
